Grey isn’t boring!

“WHY GREY? WHY NOT A COLOUR?”

A question a lot of people ask me. For me thinking grey is the superlative of black and white thinking. With black and white you create grey. That’s why I choose the colour grey. I know grey has a boring reputation, but I’m going to change that!

This means thinking grey is not the opposite of black and white thinking. With black and white thinking you learn to create an opinion. This is what you belief and represent. A bit certainty in your opinions is never wrong. By thinking grey you take it one step further. You have your own opinion, but realize it’s not the ultimate truth. There are more perspectives, more truthts and more opinions. That’s how you mix black with white.

“GREY CAN MAKE YOU THINK OF SADNESS, LAME AND BORING STUFF”

By being aware of approaching people and situations open minded, you give grey a change. If I would choose one colour, I would choose one side and with grey I don’t think I do that. It’s literaly a mixture of the phenomenon black and white thinking.

That’s why it’s grey! But why isn’t grey boring? Grey can make you think of sadness, lame and boring stuff. But thinking grey is the opposite. You’re open to new perspectives, listening to opinions you don’t know yet, and you ask people you maybe never would’ve agreed with. Nothing boring about that!
